Scope
Upgrade the power and data supply at the Lord Mayor's private Meeting Room in Melbourne Town Hall.
Methodology
An onsite meeting was conducted with facilities management to discuss installation opportunities, during which MEM identified various options to meet the client's needs. Following this, MEM provided two proposals to fulfil the Lord Mayor’s requirements, accompanied by formal quotations and technical drawings of fixtures, along with design concepts.
Outcomes
Working on a building that boasts over 130 years of history, we encountered several challenges during our onsite work, such as uncovering multiple flooring types while lifting the carpet etc. Despite these obstacles, we promptly adapted to the change in scope, addressed the flooring issues, and met the installation requirements within the same weekend.
