Scope
Replace 1,400 existing fittings with new LED lighting equipped with control systems, and upgrade aging asset infrastructure by installing 7 new switchboards with metering, all while ensuring uninterrupted day-to-day operations.
Methodology
MEM on methodology successfully completed this project (on schedule and below budget) by deploying a dedicated night shift team. Their work involved operating within sensitive laboratory environments, where meticulous preparation and dust extraction techniques were essential to ensure smooth execution and achieve high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
Outcomes
By incorporating LED lighting along with Casambi lighting control, we achieved a 27.5 kW reduction in energy consumption. Additionally, through the upgrade of existing switchboards, including the installation of metering, we seamlessly integrated the new switchboards into the BAS network.
